Seminars
To keep you up-to-date and well informed on employment law trends we run free breakfast seminars, presented by members of the employment law team, at our offices in Frith Street.
Topics have included Managing Absence, Combating Harassment and Bullying, Industrial Action, Effective Negotiation and Managing Poor Performance.
We sometimes invite guest speakers to add value to the employment law aspects. Examples are Tony Swabe an Acas mediator and Andrea Cartwright, Head of Employee Engagement at the Nationwide Building Society.
Delegates are provided with a handout summarising the key points of the presentation and an opportunity at the end of the briefing to discuss issues with the presenters and share experiences amongst the group,
At least once a year, we run a fee-based half-day seminar at a venue in the West End on topical issues which require in-depth analysis. In 2009, we looked at Mediation, which included a live session being run in front of the delegates. In 2010, we will be covering the Equality Act.
