SM&B's mergers and acquisitions team is composed of lawyers with City firm experience as well as skilled specialist practitioners from the media and telecommunications industries.

Our team's areas of expertise range from advising on fundraisings, to working with clients to achieve exits, whether by trade sale or by IPO, to acting for very active purchasers.  Our range of experience is matched by our diverse mix of clients, from sole traders to listed companies and household names.

Our work covers a wide range of industries, including TV, publishing, telecommunications, finance, construction, commodities and agriculture.  Although our deals are primarily UK-based, we also have experience in dealing with transactions with an international element, and have recently been involved in transactions in the USA, France, Abu Dhabi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Uganda, Gibraltar, the Cayman Islands and Turkey.
