Nigel trained and qualified at a niche west end law firm in September 1999, specialising in property law. Since qualification, he has worked in the property departments of private practices in the City of London where he became a partner. He joined SM&B in 2008 to assist the property and private client departments.  Nigel's specialist areas include:-

• Residential and commercial property acquisitions
• Advising and negotiating commercial leases
• Remortgages
• Will drafting and administering estates

Nigel has previously acted for one of the largest private landlords in the UK (worth in excess of £6 billion) owning several thousands of properties and for their joint venture partners.
