Lucy Moorman joined SM&B in November 2007, having previously practised as a barrister at Doughty Street Chambers. She was called to the Bar in 1992 and is an experienced practitioner in both civil and criminal litigation. She specialises in defamation and media law, including privacy, data protection and court reporting.

Lucy has been recognised by both the Chambers Guide and the Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in the defamation field and has been commended as “an incredibly clued-up junior” and “incredibly smart”.
