Jo is an Associate solicitor at SM&B and advises on all aspects of employment law including discrimination, whistle-blowing, TUPE, redundancy, parental rights and employee terminations. She has acted for public bodies, hotel groups, banks, charities and media companies, as well as senior executives and multiple claimants.

Jo regularly trains managers and staff on employment matters, writes legal articles, and edits legal commentary for a number of publications.

A long-standing Trustee of UK human rights charity Reprieve, Jo has been described by The Legal 500 as "efficient…provides sound advice".

Jo will be on maternity leave from 11 December 2009.
