David specialises in all aspects of commercial and residential property law and transactions for Plc, corporate, charity, trust, estate and private clients, especially in the media, arts and leisure sectors.
David was invited to join SM&B in 2001, having previously
been senior partner at the long-established, successful, West End
solicitors firm, Offenbach & Co.
David was formerly a non-executive director for many years of Stock
Exchange quoted and private companies and brings commercial
experience to property transactions and advisory work. His
largest transaction has been for £130m corporate value.
Formerly a Camden Councillor for ten years, David is currently a non-executive director and trustee of the The Working Man's College for Women and Men, London (the oldest adult education college in the UK), a non-executive director of Brent Housing Partnership (managing all housing of the London Borough of Brent) and a non-executive director of Circle 33 Housing Trust (a major UK housing association).
