A training course on Managing Investigations developed by the SM&B Employment team to be delivered in-house to Crown Prosecution Service lawyers appointed to investigate discrimination and harassment complaints has been granted 5 accreditation points for the purposes of the continuing professional development (CPD) of lawyers.
Commenting on the achievement, Makbool Javaid, Head of SM&B employment department, said: "This represents external recognition, at the highest level, of the quality of our in-house training service and in particular the skills of Ewan Keen and Dennis Taylor who worked closely with the CPS to analyse their training needs, develop and deliver a tailor-made course containing legal and best practice HR principles combined"
Makbool added: "It is also further recognition of our expertise in equality and diversity issues and our ability to contribute to the personal development of both in-house lawyers and HR specialists."
