Lifetime achievement award to Makbool Javaid

The Society of Asian Lawyers has awarded Makbool Javaid, head of SM&B's Employment team, its lifetime achievement award. 

The Society is the UK´s largest independent legal society, with in excess of 1500 legal and other professional members.  Its members encompass a cross section of the legal world and include partners in high profile city firms, leading barristers and QCs, in-house counsel, high street practitioners, legal executives, trainees, pupils and students.

The annual awards are intended to recognise the exceptional achievements of Asian solicitors and barristers practising in the UK.
