Mike Figgis yesterday accepted damages of £400,000 for personal injuries he sustained following a fall at a Texaco Petrol Station in North London in March 2005. We were happy to act for Mike to bring his claim to such a successful conclusion. Mike Figgis, the Oscar Nominated film director, known for such iconic films as Internal Affairs and Leaving Las Vegas (which won Nick Cage a best actor Oscar) said…

“I instigated this claim not just because I was badly injured but because I felt it was important to send a clear message to the Defendants of the need to improve the safety features and procedures at their petrol stations. I am happy with the outcome which allows me to know fully concentrate on my various artistic projects.”
