SM&B has a long-established and highly-rated criminal law team, which handles Serious Fraud Office, HMRC, DTI and Crown Prosecution Service investigations and prosecutions. We also specialise in insider dealing, money laundering, OFT and EU cartel inquiries, and regulatory work.

The team is well regarded for the range of specialist criminal law services provided to media clients, in particular broadcast and newspaper clients, journalists, and celebrities.

We have expertise in all aspects of proceedings in the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and all Appellate Jurisdictions, with a particular emphasis on Serious Crime. We also hold a General Crime franchise.
